Copenhagen Fashion Week Recap!

Last week, fashionistas gathered in Copenhagen to see Sweden’s best designers presenting their newest collections.  Inventive and artistic, yet often minimal, here are some of our favorite designers (and their best looks!):

Top pick: Stacia/Lace was an absolute fabulous dream, and had the best styling of the week, with models in dreamy angelic curls and dark smoky eyes… really an inspirational look. The designs featured lace, leather & sequins in sensual shapes- there are some very chic/covetable yet totally wearable pieces here, from party dresses to slouchy coats. LOVE.

Lala Berlin was bolder in color palette, with bright Blues and yellows popping against neutrals.  Open necklines (some to the navel) and flowy shapes from simple to complex elevated prints from raw to sophisticated.

Malene Birger featured neutral tones and 90s silhouettes: mocknecks, boxy hems, tunics and wide legs with interesting details (really cool fringes!).  Some styles were a bit boxy/normcore(cropped pants are sad) but still- some great ideas!

One more quirky pick: Margarethe Skolen featured bright colors, exciting silhouettes and unexpected fun details- very fun, very fab and a bit 90’s-Benetton-feeling!
